100% Totally Wheat Bread

Ingredient :
12 c Whole wheat flour
3 pk Yeast
8 c Scalded milk
1/2 c Molasses
1 tb Sugar
2 tb Salt
2/3 c Shortening
2/3 c Water
How To …
Dissolve yeast in 2/3 c water while your milk is cooling. Dissolve 1 cup sugar in the warm milk. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, in turn, and knead for about 5 minutes, adding flour if necessary. Knead about 5 minutes. Let rise until doubled in volume, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Knead down and form into 6 loaves, let rise until doubled in the bucket. Bake at 375 º F for 40 minutes. Turn on a wire rack and allow to cool before making a cold, if you can. This bread recipes could serve six people.
Note : Raisins or nuts can be added for a change. Also this bread freezes well.
