Ingredient :
1 c Yeast, dissolved in 1 c Water, warm
2 c Milk, warm
1/2 ts Salt
5 tb Sugar
1/2 c Butter, melted
2 Egg, well beaten
Additional Flour
For Topping:
4 tb Sugar
1 1/2 ts Cinnamon
4 tb Butter
How To …
Dissolve yeast and cake to add a v. Tablespoon sugar and salt and enough flour to harden to a sponge. Let rise for an hour, then add the remaining ingredients, using enough sifted flour to make a soft sponge. Let rise again, then roll the dough out on a floured board and cover with a mixture of 4 c. S. Sugar, 4 C. Tablespoon of butter and 1 half cup of cinnamon Tea. Roll roll as a jelly and cut into 2-inch pieces. Put the well-greased pans and leave to rise for a third time, then bake at 400F for 20 minutes. This bread recipes could make for one dish.
