Nutmeg Potato Cake

Ingredient :
2 Potato
2 Egg
1 ts Salt
1 c Sugar
1/4 ts Nutmeg
1 c Yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c Water, warm
1/2 c Lard or 1/2 c Other shortening

How To …
Boil potatoes congruent in enough water to cover them. Drain the potatoes off the water and save. Mashed potatoes and beat lightly. Measurement of the potato water, and add more water, if necessary, to make 1 half quarts. Mix with remaining ingredients, using enough flour to make a paste rather steep. Cover and let rise in warm place until this morning. Knead in the morning, adding flour as needed. Let rise again. Spread on well-greased cans, and when the light for about 1-1/4 hours, brush melted butter on top. Strew with rivels made by combining half cup sugar, half cup flour, butter and 2 c. At the table. This bread recipes could serve for one dish.
