Robusta Cake

Ingredient :
6 1/2 c Flour
1/2 c Butter
1 c Sugar
1 Egg, separated
2 c Milk
1 c Yeast, dissolved in 1/3 c Water, lukewarm
Brown sugar

Scald milk and set aside to cool. Cream sugar, butter and egg yolk. Add the warm milk, alternating with the flour and the yeast cake. Tap lightly and add the egg whites stiffly beaten. Allow this mixture to rise overnight. Bake-Flour a board and leave large spoonfuls of dough just enough flour has been added so as to enable it to be rolled into flat cakes. Spread on well greased pie tins and when the light (about 1-1/2 hours), brush melted butter on top and sprinkle dense with brown sugar. If preferred over high rivels by combining half cup sugar, half cup flour, butter and 2 Tb. Crumble together and sprinkle on top of cake. Bake at 400F for about 20 minutes. This bread recipes could make for one dish.
