Posted in Appetizers Bread on the February 9, 2008
Ingredient :
2 3/4 c All-purpose flour
2 tb Creole seasoning
1 c Sour cream
1/2 c Butter
1/4 c Sugar
2 tb Kosher salt for sprinkling
1/2 ts Baking soda
How To …
Preheat oven to 400F. Sift together flour, sugar, salt and baking soda into a bowl or food processing. Cut in butter. Add sour cream and Creole Seasoning (see recipe for Creole Seasoning), and a soft dough mixture. Roll-out paper thin on a floured board. Cut into 1-1/2 inch square. Sprinkle with kosher salt and place on a non-greased baking sheet. Bake 5-8 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the bread to crisp in the oven. It is fair to good taste with salt and sour cream. But add Creole seasonings and you have a snack hot and spicy that will leave your guests begging for the recipe. It’s nice to keep a large airtight cookie jar full of snacks for these. This bread recipes could serve up to ten people.
